Dr. Laura Upenieks received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 2019 and is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Baylor University. Her research interests are in religion and health, aging and the life course, and quantitative methods. She is currently working on projects related to individuals’ perceived relationship with God and well-being, religious virtues and health, and religious/spiritual struggles over the life course.
